Solid Hardwood Floors. Installed to Last.
Review solid or engineered wood, room conditions and acclimation needs before installation.
Check flatness, direction, starting lines and visible transitions before the first boards are fixed.
Plan doorways, vents, stairs and adjacent floors so the completed installation reads as one finish.

We repair flooring only after the leak has been fixed and drying or remediation has been completed by another appropriate contractor. The affected area must be dry and ready for flooring work before we begin.
There are two main options for indoor wood flooring: solid and engineered. Solid hardwood is exactly that—one solid piece of wood. It's tough and can be sanded and refinished multiple times over its life, making it a lifetime investment. Oak and maple are the go-to choices for durability. Engineered hardwood has a real wood top layer bonded to a plywood base. It offers good stability but can only be refinished once or twice, if at all. We'll give you the straight facts on which type is best for your specific room and budget, without the fluff.
Once your subfloor is prepped, we bring the wood into your home to acclimate. This means letting it sit for several days to adjust to your home's temperature and humidity. This simple step prevents the wood from expanding or shrinking after it's installed. We then lay out the boards for a clean look and fasten them securely. We work efficiently, respect your space, and clean up properly. The result is a durable, well-laid floor that's ready for life.
