Hardwood floors. Installed to last.
Review solid or engineered wood, room conditions and acclimation needs before installation.
Check flatness, direction, starting lines and visible transitions before the first boards are fixed.
Plan doorways, vents, stairs and adjacent floors so the completed installation reads as one finish.

You have two main choices for indoor wood flooring: solid and engineered. Solid hardwood is exactly what it sounds like – one solid piece of wood. It's durable, can be sanded and refinished multiple times, and lasts a lifetime if cared for. Engineered hardwood has a real wood top layer bonded to multiple layers of plywood. This construction makes it more stable in areas with some humidity fluctuation, like basements, but it can only be refinished once or twice, if at all.
We repair flooring only after the leak has been fixed and drying or remediation has been completed by another appropriate contractor. The affected area must be dry and ready for flooring work before we begin.
Hardwood flooring is a significant investment. Doing it yourself can lead to costly mistakes like improper spacing, moisture issues, or a noisy, uneven floor. We have the right tools and the experience to anticipate problems before they happen. We understand how wood behaves and how to install it so it performs for decades. Paying for a professional job means you only pay once. We get it done efficiently and correctly, ensuring your floor looks good and holds its value for years to come. "Very fast efficient and cost effective company. I recommend them highly for flooring needs. Laminate in my case. Excellent communications, best ever: from their project manager to their operating team, we were exchanging messages frequently at 9 or 10 PM on a week end. If you hire them make sure to ask them to cover your walls: as they work fast you have to expect your walls to be dirty . My white walls showed signs of jeans and clothes passing through. Not a big deal to clean but still had to do it ."
Yann • 4 Jan 2016 • HomeStars"I contacted two companies for a quote for my flooring. The first responded with an email estimate that gave me 1/3 of the information I needed. The second was Rudy, who came to my house, measured everything, recommended some products and gave me solid quote so I knew exactly what the job would cost and the time it would take. Very professional. His installers were equally as professional and completed the job with great fit and finish. I would definitely recommend Delight Flooring to anyone who asks and I would surely call them for my future flooring needs. KC"
