You might think installing baseboards is a simple weekend DIY project, and for some, it can be. But getting those corners perfectly tight and the seams invisible takes a bit of skill and the right tools. That's where we come in. As a contractor serving Port Perry, We’ve seen it all. Crooked walls, uneven floors... none of it's a problem. Our goal is to give you a flawless finish that looks like it was always part of your home. It’s about more than just nailing a piece of wood to the wall; it’s about creating clean lines that frame your room beautifully.
Properly installed baseboards do more than just look good. They cover the necessary expansion gap left for flooring like laminate and hardwood, protecting the edges and allowing the floor to breathe. They also act as a buffer, shielding your drywall from the inevitable bumps and scrapes from shoes, toys, and vacuums. It’s a small detail that does a big job, and getting it right from the start saves you headaches down the road.
So, what does the process look like? It's pretty straightforward. First, we'll talk about what you're looking for. Whether you're matching existing trim or going for a whole new style, we can help you choose the right material and profile for your space. Once we've got the plan, we get to work.
We start by carefully removing any old baseboards to avoid damaging your walls. Then, we take precise measurements and make accurate cuts, especially for those tricky inside and outside corners. We use professional tools to ensure every joint is snug and every piece is securely fastened to the wall. The final step is all about the finish – We’ll fill any nail holes and caulk the top edge for a seamless transition to the wall, leaving you with nothing but a perfect result. And of course, We’ll clean up everything before we leave. You won't have to lift a finger. Ready for a quote? Just give us a call at (647) 898-7839.

"We replace our parquet flooring with a hardwood, and door stain to match the flooring. Rudy is very detail oriented, his team works very quick at reasonable price. Will use again for my basement flooring. Thanks!"
Andre • 14 Jan 2014 • HomeStars"Rudy and his assistant, Mo, worked very hard to complete our stair project on time and on budget. They did not complain or come back to us with updated quotes or other issues. We are very pleased with the final result and have received many compliments on our new staircase. To add a touch of class, we offered them water from our garage fridge and to our surprise, they replaced the water they used at the end of the week. It was a very nice (but unnecessary) thing to do. Our only issue in the end was that some of the nails were still visible on the quarter round used to finish the trim work and there were a few blemishes on the stairs we had to touch up. These were very minor and ultimately, we couldn't be happier with the completed project. We would definitely recommend Rudy and his Team."
G and S • 3 Oct 2016 • HomeStars"Rudy and team are friendly, knowledgeable, on time and on budget. He supplied and installed laminate in our basement and capped the stairs with hardwood. We initially called several flooring companies and they did not know what to do with our box stairs, which just had carpet removed. Rudy was the first and only installer who gave details and options for the stairs, and provided valued recommendations. On top of that, he stained the hardwood oak stairs perfectly to match the honey oak colored laminate. We highly recommend his services!"
