Stop the leak and complete any required drying or remediation before permanent flooring work begins.
Let's get that water damage sorted out.
Stop the leak and complete any required drying or remediation before permanent flooring work begins.
Document the surface material, underlayment and substrate as well as the visible affected area.
Use material condition, product availability and moisture findings to define a practical flooring scope.

When you call us, we don't just look at the surface. Water is sneaky and can cause hidden damage that leads to bigger problems later on. We start by carefully checking the extent of the water's reach, both on the flooring itself and, just as importantly, the subfloor underneath. We're looking for signs of moisture, warping, delamination, and any potential for mold growth. Our goal is to fix the problem completely, not just cover it up.
Every type of flooring reacts to water differently, and we know how to handle them all. For hardwood, we can sometimes replace individual warped boards if the damage is contained. With laminate and luxury vinyl plank, the seams can let water seep underneath, so we often need to lift sections to ensure the subfloor is perfectly dry before putting everything back together. Unfortunately, with wall-to-wall carpet, the underpad acts like a sponge, and it's usually safest to replace both to avoid mildew and musty smells.
