Address the cause of joint movement or water exposure before installing replacement material.

Laminate flooring is durable, but it isn't indestructible. Over time, daily life can lead to noticeable imperfections. We specialize in addressing these specific indoor flooring issues with an almost obsessive attention to detail. We handle deep scratches that go beyond the surface wear layer, chips from dropped objects that expose the core board, and the dreaded peeling or bubbling that can happen from minor water exposure. Our goal is always to perform a localized repair that blends perfectly with the surrounding floor.
Our process isn't about quick patches; it's about careful restoration. For scratches and small chips, we don't just fill them. We carefully clean the damaged area, use professional-grade, colour-matched fillers, and then painstakingly recreate the grain and finish of the original plank. This level of detail is what makes the repair blend in. When a plank is too damaged to be filled—for instance, if the locking mechanism is broken or there is significant swelling—we perform a surgical plank replacement. This involves carefully removing only the damaged board without disturbing its neighbours, preparing the space, and precisely fitting a replacement plank. We take every measure to ensure the new board sits perfectly flush and secure, making the repair solid and seamless. We believe the job isn't done until the repair is difficult to spot and the work area is spotless.

"Rudy and team are friendly, knowledgeable, on time and on budget. He supplied and installed laminate in our basement and capped the stairs with hardwood. We initially called several flooring companies and they did not know what to do with our box stairs, which just had carpet removed. Rudy was the first and only installer who gave details and options for the stairs, and provided valued recommendations. On top of that, he stained the hardwood oak stairs perfectly to match the honey oak colored laminate. We highly recommend his services!"

He was prompt to the appointment, came with samples and had all the knowledge we needed to spruce up our condo before the new tenants moved in. We love how it all looked in the end and will be considering Rudy for our own home flooring work in the future."
Ryan & Giselle D • 24 Feb 2014 • HomeStars"My project was a little over 1000 sq ft of hardwood flooring, 350 ft of baseboard trim, 350 feet of door stop and 10 sq ft of tile in front of a fireplace. Upon completion, the rooms looked fabulous for 2 reasons. One was the natural warmth and elegance of wood flooring and secondly, the workmanship of Rudy and his crew. The quality and professionalism of the job was no more evident then where the tile and wood met. The tile was raised to the level of the wood thickness and the 2 met each other at an odd angle. The transition between the 2 surfaces was seamless and flawless and no transition pieces were required to hide any shortcomings. I was most impressed with this part of the job as only an experienced professional would do such a perfect job. In addition, Rudy and his crew were very courteous and cleaned up the mess after each days work. Even though I invited them to bring their saws and cutters indoors because it was cold, they insisted on doing this part of the job outdoor to minimise the mess in my home. I would definitely recommend Rudy and his crew to anyone seeking to have their flooring done. He is reasonably priced and offers quality work in exchange. Thanks Rudy and crew. Great Job."
