Smooth Out Those Annoying Carpet Bumps!
Separate broad rippling from seam, edge or isolated surface damage before choosing a repair method.
Review carpet condition, tack strip and perimeter access to determine whether controlled re-stretching is practical.
For a patch, locate a compatible remnant and account for pile direction, pattern and the repair's visibility.

It's a question we get all the time. Often, it comes down to the initial installation. If the carpet wasn't stretched properly with a power stretcher, it's bound to loosen up over the years. Heavy foot traffic, especially in hallways, can also cause it to shift and bunch up. Even big changes in humidity or dragging heavy furniture across the room can lead to those annoying ripples.
It's not just about looks, either. A loose carpet wears out much faster because the wrinkles get all the foot traffic, leading to worn-out lines. Plus, they're just plain unsafe to have around, especially with kids or older family members.
So, how do we fix it? It's a pretty neat process. We use a special tool called a power stretcher, which is the industry standard for getting a professional, drum-tight finish. We'll carefully pull the carpet towards the walls, removing the slack and smoothing out every single wrinkle. Once it's perfectly tight, we re-secure it onto the tack strips along the edge of the room. We finish by trimming any excess carpet and tucking it neatly for a clean, seamless look. Your room will look transformed, and the carpet will feel solid underfoot again.
Sometimes the issue is more than just a few waves. Don't worry, we handle other common carpet repairs too. We can fix split seams that have come apart, patch areas that have been damaged by burns or stubborn stains, and repair transitions between carpet and other flooring types like tile or hardwood. It's all about finding the right solution to make your existing carpet work for you, saving you the cost and hassle of a full replacement. Just give a call and we can figure out what you need.

"Delight Flooring just finished my flooring and stairs and we could'nt be more satisfied. They we're here when they said they would be and really did a great job. I would have no problem reccomending them to anyone I know!"
HomeOwner • 25 Feb 2014 • HomeStars"Rudy and his assistant, Mo, worked very hard to complete our stair project on time and on budget. They did not complain or come back to us with updated quotes or other issues. We are very pleased with the final result and have received many compliments on our new staircase. To add a touch of class, we offered them water from our garage fridge and to our surprise, they replaced the water they used at the end of the week. It was a very nice (but unnecessary) thing to do. Our only issue in the end was that some of the nails were still visible on the quarter round used to finish the trim work and there were a few blemishes on the stairs we had to touch up. These were very minor and ultimately, we couldn't be happier with the completed project. We would definitely recommend Rudy and his Team."
