Fixing Ripples and Bumps with Meticulous Care.

Review carpet condition, tack strip and perimeter access to determine whether controlled re-stretching is practical.
For a patch, locate a compatible remnant and account for pile direction, pattern and the repair's visibility.

You might be wondering why your once-flat carpet now has bumps and waves. The most common reason is an improper installation where a power stretcher wasn't used. Other factors inside your house, like high humidity, dragging heavy furniture, or even everyday foot traffic can cause the backing to loosen over time. These aren't just cosmetic issues; a loose carpet wears out much faster because the fibres can't properly support the foot traffic, and the wrinkles create very real tripping hazards.
Our solution is a methodical re-stretching process. We don't just use a knee kicker, which is a tool meant only for small adjustments. We use a professional power stretcher to apply consistent, even tension across the entire length and width of the room. This is the only way to achieve a drum-tight finish that will last for years. Once stretched, we carefully trim the excess carpet along the wall and expertly tuck it back in for a clean, finished edge. It’s a job where precision makes all the difference.
Sometimes the problem is more than just a ripple. A dropped iron, a pet scratching, or a stubborn stain can leave a permanent mark. In many cases, you don’t need to replace the entire carpet. We can perform specific repairs that save you money and restore the look of your room. We can mend split seams, replace damaged transition strips, or perform bonded inserts (patches). For patches, we take a donor piece of carpet from a remnant or an unseen area, like the back of a closet, and meticulously fit it into the damaged spot, paying close attention to the pile direction and pattern so the repair is as discreet as possible.
Repair expectations: Repair appearance depends on the condition of the surrounding floor and the availability of compatible matching material.

"My project was a little over 1000 sq ft of hardwood flooring, 350 ft of baseboard trim, 350 feet of door stop and 10 sq ft of tile in front of a fireplace. Upon completion, the rooms looked fabulous for 2 reasons. One was the natural warmth and elegance of wood flooring and secondly, the workmanship of Rudy and his crew. The quality and professionalism of the job was no more evident then where the tile and wood met. The tile was raised to the level of the wood thickness and the 2 met each other at an odd angle. The transition between the 2 surfaces was seamless and flawless and no transition pieces were required to hide any shortcomings. I was most impressed with this part of the job as only an experienced professional would do such a perfect job. In addition, Rudy and his crew were very courteous and cleaned up the mess after each days work. Even though I invited them to bring their saws and cutters indoors because it was cold, they insisted on doing this part of the job outdoor to minimise the mess in my home. I would definitely recommend Rudy and his crew to anyone seeking to have their flooring done. He is reasonably priced and offers quality work in exchange. Thanks Rudy and crew. Great Job."

They removed the carpet in my upstairs hallway and carpet from the stairs to install hardwood floors and black steel spindles for my staircase. They did not only meet but exceeded my expectations. They were punctual, dedicated and honest with their work. They made changes that didn't meet their standards and would start re-start so it can meet and exceed my standards. We have received nothing but compliments with the hallway and stairs we got installed. They took pride and care in their work and it definitely showed. I would definitely hire them and refer them to my friends and family. Thanks again Rudy and team, we really appreciate the work! George D. & Family!"
