Review carpet condition, tack strip and perimeter access to determine whether controlled re-stretching is practical.
For a patch, locate a compatible remnant and account for pile direction, pattern and the repair's visibility.

It’s a common question we get. Usually, it's down to a few things. Sometimes it's the humidity we get around here, which can make the carpet's backing expand and contract. Other times, it might be from dragging heavy furniture across the room, which can pull the carpet off its moorings. A lot of the time, though, it's simply because it wasn't installed with the right tool—a power stretcher—in the first place. Whatever the cause, don't worry, it’s almost always fixable.
When we come over, our main goal is to get that carpet as tight as it was on day one. We use a professional power stretcher, which is the proper tool for the job. It gives us the leverage to pull the carpet nice and taut across the room. Once it's tight, we re-secure it to the tack strips along the wall, trim off any excess, and tuck it in for a clean finish. The result is a perfectly flat, safe floor. You'll be amazed at the difference it makes.
It's not just about stretching. Maybe the seam between two rooms is coming apart, or the cat decided to use a corner as a scratching post. We can help with that, too! We handle all sorts of indoor carpet repairs, from fixing split seams to patching small areas that have been burned or permanently stained. It's all about extending the life of your flooring and saving you the headache and cost of a complete replacement. Just give us a call, and we can figure out the best solution for your home.
